Moderator Application for Overcast Community (oc.tc)
So you want to become a Moderator? Ever babysat ~99 screaming, mostly annoying kids? Patience will be a good thing to have. You are applying for the ability to be a volunteer babysitter.

Moderators are representatives and role models of the server. They enforce the rules and help assist players with any issues they might have.

Responses will only be shared with Administrators and Senior Moderators. If your application is approved, some parts of your application will be shared with current Moderators in a Junior Moderator candidate discussion thread.

Sending in an application will not guarantee in any way, shape or form that you will become a Moderator. If the Senior Moderators decides to accept your application, you will be invited to the moderator team. Note that we promote candidates in smaller batches, so your application might still be considered for the next batch.
If you do not get contacted for several months, your application might not have been considered for Moderator.

There are several things that will help your chances of becoming a mod
1. Be helpful to other players.
2. Talk with other players, mods and admins. (But don't annoy them.)
3. Have a positive attitude and proper etiquette.
4. Report rule breakers. (Don't make up fake reports.)
